Even a Man’s Man Can Get Into These Survival Strategies

All righty then, I guess I think too much like a girl.

Why – you ask? Well because of a comment a male reader made about yesterdays post where I express my love for  Convergence Coaching’s Survival Strategies for busy season.  To catch up check out my earlier post here What Have I been Sayin’ – Busy Season Survival Strategies

Moving on….

This – shall we say – man’s man thought that some of the ideas suggested to relieve stress during this hectic time were somewhat touchy feely and well just plain girly.  I don’t know, does yoga, stretching, dancing or meditation sound girly to you?

Ya know, don’t answer that because I have put together three things that I think are equally satisfying for both our male and female counterparts.  How about these ideas:

1)      Since most offices have televisions these days, why not bring in your Wii Games and play some Wii sports.  Video games are a great stress reliever.  I like the Wii tennis, bowling and golf myself.

2)      How about playing helicopter battle with some inexpensive indoor remote control helicopters.  My hubby has a couple of these and I assure you they will offer the stress relief you are looking for.  Managers against the partners, staff against the managers fun fun fun

3)      Okay here’s one – How about conjugal visits – okay just kidding about that one – can you image Human Resources reaction.  Though I do miss my hubby during this time of year! :-0

If you have ideas about great stress relievers that you think your firm should implement during busy season, I would like to hear about them.
